Driving Forward Medical Innovation - What funding is available?
Learn more about two sources of funding currently available to help your company with the development of new medical and healthcare related products. The European Framework Programme 7 and regional Advantage Proof of Concept Funding will be discussed. Looking particularly at; the aims of the these funding schemes, who is eligible, the application and assessment processes, what commitment is required from participating companies and most importantly, what are the benefits of obtaining such grants.
PERA is a leading European innovation network, inspiring and enabling companies to transform their products, business processes and people. PERA are the most successful organisation in Europe for assisting companies in obtaining R&D grants and in particular Framework Programme 7 funding.
The Advantage Proof of Concept fund is backed by Advantage West Midlands and the European Regional Development fund. The scheme is designed to support innovation and product development.
To compliment these two sessions we have invited Tom Somervell of Marks & Clerk Patent & Trade Mark Attorneys to provide a brief introduction to Intellectual Property and the considerations a company has to make.
