The demonstrator features a Tunstall Lifeline Telecare system which links the flat directly to a call centre. An intelligent falls detector is also featured; this learns the movement behavior of the individual and can determine a stumble from a serious fall. This reduces the risk of a false alarm. The kitchen features the Sure Stop water and gas isolation devices. These simply shut off the gas or water supply when a leak is detected.
