Physical access to the building has been a key consideration and features, level access from the street, level access on the ground floor, widened doors throughout, a wheelchair lift in the front room, wheelchair accessible bathroom and ensuite. The physical design of the i-House has been supported by extensive input from user groups to determine the optimum design. The result is a fully inclusive building capable of supporting the changing needs of its occupants.
